Approval & Production

I will make every effort to assure your satisfaction and if there is an error on my part, I will correct the problem. However, it is your responsibility to review and make sure that every detail is correct on your proof, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, spacing and colour. 

Please note: I cannot be held responsible for any errors once you have given final approval of the proof. If you would like me to make changes to your design after you have given final approval, additional charges will be applied for reprinting. 

After your final approval is received, materials are ordered and your stationery goes into production. At this time no further changes can be made and quantities cannot be decreased. If you would like to order more items of stationery at this time, or at a later date, all designs are kept on file for up to 12 months after purchase.

Printing & Stock Quality

All printing is done in-house in my design studio in order to ensure everything is perfect! All products are made on-demand. The printing is flat, not raised, and done with high resolution, professional quality printers. All card stock used is 280gsm-300gsm in thickness. All of the card stock is sturdy and of excellent quality, made in the UK from recycled materials.

The recycled 'Kraft' and 'Eco-Natural' cards, due to their nature, may be speckled and feature tiny flecks of wood.


Samples are available for purchase via my Etsy store. Sorry, I cannot send out free samples due to high demand.

Lead Times

Production begins once your proofs have approved. This typically takes around 3-7 days wedding   invitations, although during peak season, lead times can run up to 2 weeks. 

Design for all other wedding stationery items, such as Order of Service, place cards, table numbers, menu’s, & table plans etc. generally takes place 1 month (minimum) before your wedding date. Lead times are typically around 1-2 weeks for these items, depending on your specific order. 

Please note: International customers should order as soon as possible. This is due to long international delivery times, ranging from 1-4 weeks (depending on your specific location).

Rush Orders

UK customers only. Rush orders are accepted on a case by case basis, depending on the production schedule, availability of supplies and the scope of the project. A separate rush order fee of £30 will be added and is due in full with the original payment.

Order Quantities

Unlike most stationers, STN has no minimum order constraints, which means you can order your specific quantity without having to pay a low order fee.

Handmade - Inconsistencies

All invitations are handmade with the utmost care, one piece at a time. Therefore, there may be a slight variation from one item to the next. This is what makes handmade products unique and charming and should not be seen as a manufacturing error.

Returns and Cancellations

Unfortunately personalised products cannot be returned. If you need to cancel your order, please contact me immediately.

Please note: If you cancel your order after approving your final proof and your stationery has gone into  production, you are responsible for the entire amount of your order.


Royal Mail and Parcel Force are used for shipping orders and the customer is responsible for all delivery shipping and postage costs for the final product. Please allow at least 7 days (UK) or 31 days (International) for delivery, depending on the method of shipment used & delivery destination.

Please make sure that you state the correct delivery address when paying via Etsy or Paypal. Both Etsy & Paypal's buyer & seller protection policy state that a purchase can only be dispatched to the address stated on your transaction receipt. This is to help prevent Credit card 'Chargeback' fraud.

Something New Stationery is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipment to your requested location. Most large orders are send via an insured service, so if your stationery arrives in a damaged state please contact me with photographic proof so that I can put a claim in for you.
